WHAT IS GPIS?

Bank of China - New York is committed to providing safe, convenient and consistently reliable service to its correspondent banking customers. The Bank completely automated its Global Payment System (GPS) in November 1998 and in September 1999 developed the Global Payment Inquiry Service (GPIS), an Internet-based global U.S. dollar clearing inquiry system, to provide 24-hour account access to its correspondent banking customers worldwide. With this round-the-clock access managing wire transfer inquiries could not be simpler.

The GPIS is fast, secure, real-time and global. It is designed to provide the ultimate convenience: customers can monitor account activities and check balances and the status of payment, both incoming and outgoing at any time from anywhere in the world.
