At Bank of China-New York, a minimum deposit of $5,000 is required to open a commercial money market account. Interests are compounded daily and credited to the account at the end of each month and are calculated based on the account’s available balance. A minimum available account balance of $2,500 must be maintained each day to obtain the Bank-determined interest rate. A service fee will be charged if the average daily available balance falls below $3,000. When the account’s daily available balance falls below the minimum requirement, interests on the account will be calculated at the NOW account rate. When an account is closed before the interests are credited, no interests will be earned for that period. A monthly statement will be sent to you. As stipulated by law, only six debit transactions are permitted during a statement cycle of which up to six may be made by check.
Bank of China-New York reserves the right to revise minimum balances and fee structures upon notice.
