BANK OF CHINA LIMITED, U.S. BRANCHES WON THE “BEST RMB BANK U.S.A.” AWARD FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Recently, “The Asset”, a Hong Kong-based financial magazine, announced the results of its 2026 Triple A Awards, covering 54 countries and regions worldwide. Bank of China Limited, U.S. Branches (comprising Bank of China’s branches in New York, NY; Queens, NY; Chicago, IL; and Los Angeles, CA, hereinafter “BOCUSA”) was named “Best RMB Bank in the United States” for the sixth consecutive year, standing out amid strong competition from leading global banks. At the same time, through the combined efforts of Bank of China Head Office, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, and its affiliated branches and subsidiaries, Bank of China was also recognized as the “Best RMB Bank” across 23 countries and regions. This marks a record high for the Group and makes Bank of China the most awarded banking group in this year’s program—highlighting its leadership in RMB internationalization and its growing global presence. Meanwhile, Bank of China group also won “Best RMB Bank - Capital Market”, “Best RMB Bank - Clearing”, “Best RMB Bank - Trade Finance”, “Best Issuer for Sustainable Finance”, “Best Loan Adviser” in 2026. 


Since its designation as an RMB clearing bank in January 2019, Bank of China Limited, New York Branch (hereafter “BOCNY”) has continued to enhance its RMB product suite and service capabilities, while actively engaging with the local market to strengthen its brand in the U.S. banking sector. In recent years, BOCNY has supported cross-border trade settlement and expanded financing solutions, while connecting clients with onshore and offshore platforms as needed. Leveraging the Bank’s global network and integrated service model, it helps deliver comprehensive solutions across cross-border financing, cash management, and offshore RMB capital markets—broadening RMB use cases and supporting clients’ international growth.


This year, The Asset once again recognized Bank of China New York Branch as the “Best RMB Bank in the U.S.” In addition, Martin Maciak, Head of U.S. Client Relationships & Institutional Lending (Financial Institutions), was named “Best Relationship Manager,” reflecting strong client and market recognition.


Founded in 1999, “The Asset” is a widely recognized English-language financial publication in Asia. It has hosted its awards program for more than two decades, and its “Triple A” Awards are now regarded as one of the most influential distinctions in the treasury and financial management industry across Asia and globally.
