Bank of China U.S.A. Continues Its Sponsorship of The Juilliard School

News

Bank of China U.S.A. (BOC U.S.A.), the oldest and largest Chinese bank in the U.S., is proud to announce that it will continue its sponsorship of The Juilliard School in the 2025-26 academic year. Launched in 2021 in honor of the Bank’s 40th anniversary of operations in the United States, BOC U.S.A.’s support of Juilliard celebrates a shared commitment to nurturing cross-cultural understanding and collaboration between the U.S. and China, as exemplified by The Tianjin Juilliard School in China.

BOC U.S.A. has once again funded a grant to support Juilliard’s Community Engagement programs in New York City public schools. These impactful initiatives bring free performances and arts education programs to hundreds of elementary school students annually and are essential to Juilliard’s commitment to cultivating citizen artists. BOC U.S.A.’s contribution will help the school to serve low- to moderate-income communities across New York City’s five boroughs as part of BOC U.S.A.’s ongoing corporate giving and community reinvestment efforts.

BOC U.S.A. has a history of supporting collaborations between Juilliard’s two campuses, including the 2021 virtual project Little Folk-Song Serenade, the 2023 live hybrid concert performance of Terry Riley’s In C, the inaugural Juilliard-Tianjin Juilliard joint faculty recital in February 2024, and the Historical Performance program’s five-city tour of China in October 2024. The bank’s Tianjin branch has also provided vital support to The Tianjin Juilliard School through a multi-year sponsorship. Both Juilliard and Bank of China are thrilled to be continuing this global partnership.
