BOC Academy (New York) Launched First Session of “2023 Online Training Series on Global Banking Trends” – Climate Risk Management for Banking Industry

On June 6th, BOC Academy (New York) successfully launched the first session of "2023 Online Training Series on Global Banking Trends" – Climate Risk Management for Banking Industry. As the first session of this year’s online training series, the course is jointly hosted by BOC Academy (New York) and Moody’s Analytics. The course was jointly by three experts from Moody’s Analytics, Dan Byrd, Claire Souch and James Partridge, introducing climate disclosure regulations for banks, central banks’ climate scenario analysis and stress testing, quantifying the impact of climate change, impact of climate risk on credit risk, and case studies of incorporating climate risk into banks’ risk management. Over 300 BOC group-wide colleagues joined the live training session.

This online training series has a total of five sessions. The rest four sessions are scheduled over the upcoming months, covering topics of Sustainable Finance in the US Banking Industry, Fintech Digitalization and Risk Management, Inclusive Finance for Business Growth, and Model Risk Management.
