BOC Academy(New York) Launched Fourth Session of “2022 Global Banking Highlights and Key Industry Trends Online Training Series” – Best Practice of Banking Globalization

On August 3rd Beijing Time, BOC Academy (New York) successfully launched the fourth session of “2022 Global Banking Highlights and Key Industry Trends Online Training Series” – Best Practice of Banking Globalization, co-hosted by Moody’s Analytics. The course was broadcasted through Zoom webinar and the BOC University Learning Platform simultaneously. Mr. Faris Saah from Moody’s experts’ team delivered the session.

This training session gave an introduction of Current State of Global Banking including the Historical Evolution of Global Banking Business Models, Trends Affecting Growth/Expansion, Risks/Rewards of Going Global, Regulatory Headwinds, Digitalization impact on banking globalization strategy,  The current geo-political situation, sovereign risk, Covid-19, impact on future banking globalization strategy; Best Practices of Globalization, some Case Studies including Citibank in Latin America, JP Morgan Globalization and Digitalization and Global Mobile Banking and also the Lessons Learned including Regulator Arbitrage, Electronic Advantages, Capital Controls and Great Financial Crisis etc.

The senior executive trainees from BOC Provincial Branches across China and the overseas branches actively participated, and about 500 people participated in the online live learning.

BOC Academy (New York) will continue to offer sessions on the topic of Digitalization Recent Development & Practices in September.
