BOC Academy（New York） Launched Second Session of “2022 Global Banking Highlights and Key Industry Trends Online Training Series” – Best Practice in Green Finance

On June 20th, BOC Academy (New York) successfully launched the second session of “2022 Global Banking Highlights and Key Industry Trends Online Training Series” – Best Practice in Green Finance, co-hosted by Moody’s Analytics. The course was broadcasted by the Zoom webinar and the BOC University Learning Platform simultaneously. The session was delivered by and Ms. Muriel Caton and Dr. Guo Peiyuan from Moody’s experts team.

This training session gave an introduction of sustainable finance and latest innovation, differences with the domestic norms, second party opinion (SPO) & management of risks associated with green finance, and Moody’s ESG rating system - ESG assessment & Sustainable Rating (SR), Green Finance Case Study (Systemically Important Banks).

The second session of the series training was a great success. The senior executive level students from BOC Provincial Branches across China and the overseas branches actively participated, and nearly 650 people participated in the online live learning.

The training series will continue to offer sessions on other topics such as Enterprise Risk Management, Banking Globalization, Digitalization, and Regulatory Compliance related content in the coming months.
