BOC LEARNING INSTITUTE NEW YORK LAUNCHED ITS THIRD SESSION OF THE “2023 ONLINE TRAINING SERIES ON GLOBAL BANKING TRENDS” – SUSTAINABLE FINANCE IN THE US BANKING INDUSTRY

On August 16th, BOC Learning Institute New York successfully launched its third session of the "2023 Online Training Series on Global Banking Trends" – Sustainable Finance in the U.S. Banking Industry. The course was jointly hosted by BOC Learning Institute New York and Moody’s Analytics. Alex Moreira, who has extensive experience in US sustainable finance, covered a variety of topics, including the current state of US sustainable finance, key risks for financial institutions associated with climate change, a commercial bank’s carbon footprint, US key market and regulatory trends, common financial instruments, transition finance, and sustainability in global transaction banking. Several case studies of commercial banks’ sustainability journey were also discussed in the course. Over 260 BOC group-wide colleagues joined the live training session.

This online training series has a total of five sessions. The remaining two sessions of this five-part series will cover Inclusive Finance for Business Growth and Model Risk Management. Please stay tuned for updates regarding future sessions.
