Notification on Service Fee Schedule Update

Bank of China U.S.A. is always committed to provide you with the support needed to reach your financial goals. We are excited to inform you that we are making significant changes to eliminate /reduce certain fees: 

  • Elimination of Check Returned Unpaid by us fee for personal customersconsumers will no longer pay a check returned fee for non-sufficient funds, uncollected funds or any other reasons.  
  • Elimination of Deposited Check Returned Unpaid Fee for personal customers -consumers will no longer pay a fee for returned deposited check.
  • Elimination of Photocopy of Paid Check, Statement or Other Document Fee for personal customersconsumers will no longer pay a fee for requesting photocopies of paid check, statement etc. For corporate customer, the fee will be charged per item instead of per page.  
  • Elimination of Interim Statement Fee for both personal and corporate customerscustomers will no longer pay a fee for interim statement. 
  • Elimination of Daily USD and RMB Cash Deposit Fees customers will no longer pay a fee for daily USD cash deposit in excess of $20,000 or RMB cash deposit in excess of 3,000. 
  • Elimination of Coin Exchange Fee customers will no longer pay a fee for coin exchange at teller counters. 
  • Elimination of Fax Sending Fee- customers will no longer pay a fee for request to send domestic or international fax. 
  • Elimination of Online Bill Payment Check Image Retrieval/Proof of Payment Fees-consumer will no longer pay a fee for obtaining check image or proof of payment if payment initiated via Online Bill Pay 
  • Reduction of Certification Service Fee- Fee charged for certification service for account opened at other branches and subsidiaries of Bank of China Ltd will be reduced from $100 to $50.00. 
  • Reduction of Account Certification Fee- Fee charged for issuing account certification letter will be reduced from $20.00 to $15.00.

The above-mentioned changes will be effective on 2/12/2024.
