On the afternoon of May 22, the 136th Canton Fair New York promotion conference was held at the Bank of China New York Branch. Mr. Huang Ping, Consul General of the Consulate General of China in New York, Mr. Chu Shijia, Chairman of the Board and President of China Foreign Trade Centre Group Ltd, Mr. Hu Wei, Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce USA and President of Bank of China USA, Abraham Merchant, the President of Merchants Hospitality, Kevin Kuehl, the senior vice president of Big Lots, and Kate Sullivan, the executive director of Greater Columbus Chinese Chamber of Commerce, attended and addressed at the event. Over 120 people, including heads of US enterprises, business associations, trade and investment promotion agencies, and media representatives, attended the event.

On May 8, BOC U.S.A. hosted the promotional conference for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum.

On Thursday, May 2, ASPIRA of New York hosted its 2024 annual Circle of Achiever's Gala at the prestigious 583 Park Avenue, celebrating another year of outstanding academic achievement and leadership among Latino youth. The event saw significant participation from major corporate entities including Bank of China U.S.A., who have been supporters of ASPIRA’s mission for almost a decade.

Recently, “The Asset” magazine announced the results of the 2024 “Best RMB Bank” awards. Bank of China (USA) won the “Best RMB Bank in the United States” award for the fourth consecutive year among fierce competition with large global banks.

The 27th Harvard College China Forum was held on the campus of Harvard University in Boston from April 12th to 14th, 2024. Mr. Wei Hu, President and CEO of Bank of China U.S.A. and Chairman of the China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) delivered several remarks.
